Susan is an entrepreneur, brain and cognitive scientist, and food psychologist. She’s a Ph.D, and author of the new book Bright Line Eating: The Science of Living Happy, Thin, & Free.
She built her business to over $6MM in revenue (with a 300k+ list) in under a year. She’s an expert on the neuroscience of weight loss, willpower, and food addiction and helped more than 4,000 people in 63 countries lose a collective 133,000 pounds.
Mission: Susan hopes to show people how their brain blocks them from losing weight so they can be more successful in losing it and keeping it off.
Mistake: She wishes she didn’t hire people without meeting them first.
Quote: “There’s always time for what’s most important. That’s not a slogan, it’s a truism. It’s just true. There’s always time for what’s most important.” -Ryan Eliason
Legacy: Susan hopes that anyone, anywhere, who’s desperate to get off their weight and change their relationship with food and live free, knows about Bright Line Eating and that there’s a roadmap to have access to it. She also hopes society recognizes the addictive pull of flour and sugar, and thus realizes that not all people react to them the same way and we all need to be accepting of a person’s struggle with them.
